Slope = (y2 - y1)/(x2 - x1)
Given the points (2, 2) & (-4, -3)
[tex]m = \frac{-3 - 2}{-4 - 2} \\ m = \frac{-5}{-6} = \frac{5}{6} [/tex]

The slope is in rise over run form
It goes down 5 then left 6
So the answer is -5/6
