The last czar of Russia was Nicholas II. Him and his families control ended on March 15th 1917. I hope this helps :) 
Nikolai II was the last czar of Russia. He was brutally murdered in a basement along with his family; I believe they were shot to death, which eventually signaled the end of his reign.
