8(2)-3+1= 16-4 witch is 12. if you need me to simplify it more tell me.

You would first plug in x=2 and y=1 into the equation so it will become 8(2)-3+(1) and then simplify using PEMDAS, so it would be 8•2-3+1, then 16-3+1 then 13+1 and your answer would be 14
