•Patrick is murdered with a leg of lamb
(It happens in the story and is import to the plot)
•The police are clueless as to who the murder really is (they never truly think it is Mary)
•Patrick and Mary are both like lambs to the slaughter becuase they have no idea what is about to happen to them (Patrick doesnt know that he is going to be murdered by Mary, Mary doesn’t know what will happen to her and the baby if she gets found out)
