Remember that the slope intercept formula is:
y = mx + b
m is the slope
b is the y-intercept
So far we know the slope and can plug that into the equation like so...
y = -3x + b
Now we must find b
To do that you must plug in the point the line goes through in the x and y of the equation.
(4, -2)
-2 = -3(4) + b
-2 = -12 + b
10 = b
y = -3x + 10
