Fish live in bodies of water, rivers, lakes, oceans, basically any water shed. Fish are animal in the sea they can't breath or live on land.

Fish live in any body of water that suits their needs. For example a salt water fish would live in a salt water area and a freshwater fish would live in an area of freshwater.
