The math club sold $808 worth of tickets for their spaghetti dinner. Adult tickets cost $12 each and children's tickets cost $8 each. If they sold 75 tickets, how many adult tickets and how many children's tickets were sold?

A= Adult

C= Children

They both sold the tickets which is going to be

A + C = 75

Now here it shows

12= each adult ticket

8= each children ticket

find the equation like this 12 A + 8C = 808

Now to find the C

You can find by resolving it like this

C= 75 - A

Solve the A and C

4A = 208

A = 52

12 (52) + 8C = 808

624 + 8C = 808

Children = 23

Adult= 52
